If we were to add another the next should be a location for a film and movies showcasing the development of the film industry and the many movies made in the Southern Utah area. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, a multiple of John Wayne westerns, and SciFi movies such as Galaxy Quest and others. Much of the feature film The Fly Boys was filmed in St. George proper just blocks away from the Best Western Coral Hills property.

Do you have a hard time remembering whether to go forward or backward on the clock every time this daylight savings changes? There are only two simple things you need to remember. The first is to commit to memory the short saying: “Spring Forward, Fall Back”. In the spring we move the clocks forward one hour. In the fall we move our clocks back one hour. The second item is to actually remember to set your clocks back prior to going to bed Saturday…then you won’t have to wake up at 2am to make the time at the official moment.

If Odyssey Dance Theatre’s “Thriller” isn’t part of your yearly Halloween tradition, it should be. The spooky spectacular combines technical aspects of dance while paying homage to the stars of All Hallows’ Eve.
Throughout the two-hour program, “Thriller” highlights all the heroes of the season, including Frankenstein’s monster and his bride, skeletons, mummies and werewolves. But among the ghouls, you’ll find other unlikely heroes of Halloween, such as Bubbles the Clown and the “Giggle Girl,” who sings and maniacally laughs her way through songs such as “I Saw Mommy Killing Santa Claus.”
Washington County School District Foundation invites you to celebrate Halloween on the Town and raise funds for Washington County Schools. “Halloween on the Town” features Southern Utah’s first “Haunted Cave” plus the family-friendly “Spooky Town Fair.”
While the Haunted Cave will entertain the community all month long, the Spooky Town Fair will be a one-day Halloween-themed fair-style event in downtown St. George at Town Square. All profits benefit the students in the Washington County School District.
