The WCSW Recycling Program (Washington County Solid Waste) is the 1st county wide recycling program in the history of southern Utah. This program will provide public drop off locations, approximately 40 sites, within Washington County where residents can drop off their paper, plastic, metal, and glass. Operational costs for this program are covered by residents’ trash removal fees. In turn, 100% of the commodity money will be given back to the cities and towns that make up Washington County for community projects.
Springdale, the town at the southern border of Zion National Park, is part of Washington County. Please take advantage of this program prior to entering the park.
