Sears Dixie Invitationsl Art Show & Sale @ Dixie State College The Annual Sears Dixie Invitational Art Show and Sale celebrates its Silver Anniversary on the Dixie State College campus from Saturday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, March 25. All artwork is for sale, with proceeds going to fund the Sears Art Museum Gallery in the Dixie State College Eccles Fine Arts Center. This year’s Invitational events will begin on Friday, Feb. 17th, at 3:00 p.m., in the Eccles Fine Arts Center Concert Hall with a free art symposium for all interested artists, conducted by 2011 Purchase Prize and Best of Show winner Jerry Read Hancock. The Invitational’s opening gala dinner–featuring ragtime comedian and pianist Mimi Blais, and pre-sale will follow the symposium at 6:00 pm in the Eccles Fine Arts Center Grand Foyer.
