Summer Solstice Event

Summer Solstice Events held at the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs (National Register of Historic Sites); 10 am hands on Archeology Workshop ($15 per person), 3 pm Parowan Gap Documentary Film Preview, 6:30 pm Dutch Oven Dinner ($20 per person), 7:30 pm Sunset Solstice Program (FREE) at the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs (National Register of Historic Sites), and 8:30 pm Summer Solstice Sunset Observation. The main event of the day is the Summer Solstice program at Parowan Gap with Morris and Norman speaking. At 8:30pm the group will walk three-quarters of a mile along the paved road to the back-up Summer Solstice cairns to watch the sun set through the Gap. The program is free. Please bring chairs, drinking water, and wear good walking shoes.
