Zombie Run 5K

What do Runners do in a Zombie Run? The survival area will be the old St. George airport.  A secure course was set up as a survival area but is has been overrun. Runners will be given a life belt containing two life-tags (flags) which the Zombies will try and steal from you.  Cross the finish line with at least one tag and consider yourself a winner…and alive. There will be obstacles to participate in or they can be bypassed. Tip: Runners who participate in obstacles will get a chance to grab new life tags if they complete the challenge. Be one of the first to cross the line with at least one tag and you’ll also win something.  C’mon what’s a race if you don’t win something for being one of the first to cross the finish line alive? Lose them both and well…you’re toast. You can still finish as a dead man though.  Join the festivities at the end, dead or alive.

Held at the old abandoned St. George Airport St. George, Utah just minutes away from Best Western Coral Hills.

Zombie Run 5K

No runners were actually harmed/bitten in the Zombie Run 5K

So, what do the Zombies do? Your goal for the duration of the race is to take lives and have fun doing it.  On the day of the race you will be transformed into a Zombie and given your area and assignment.  Some will be chaser Zombies and some will be creeper Zombies. A chaser does just that, chases the runners.  A creeper scares the runner and distracts while another creeper or chaser steals a life from the runner’s belt.  Unfortunately you may not tackle, hold or hug the participants and please absolutely not biting (sorry vampire wannabes this is a zombie run). Once the race is over come join us at the finish line for the after party.
